Jill Terashita is a Canadian actress best known for her memorable roles in the cult horror cinema of the late 1980s. Born on February 17, 1964, in Toronto, Ontario, she gained widespread recognition among genre fans for her performance in the 1988 supernatural slasher Night of the Demons. In the film, she portrayed Frannie, a high-spirited partygoer whose ill-fated Halloween night at the abandoned Hull House ends in a demonic massacre.
Following the success of her debut in the horror scene, Terashita secured another notable role in the slasher sequel Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989), playing the character Arab. Her presence in these two franchise films solidified her status as a recognizable figure of the 80s horror era. Beyond the horror genre, her filmography includes appearances in the 1985 comedy The Big Bet and a minor role in the 2004 thriller Collateral.
