Tina Shaw is a British actress and model who became a recognizable face in cult and genre cinema during the 1980s and early 1990s. She is best known for her roles in stylized horror and international co-productions. One of her most notable early roles was in the 1985 Swedish-American slasher film Blood Tracks, where she played Sarah, a member of a film crew targeted by a group of mountain-dwelling killers.
In 1986, she made a memorable appearance in the Dutch box-office hit Flodder (released internationally as Flodder - Eine Familie zum Knutschen), playing a striptease dancer in the eccentric comedy. Her career frequently crossed paths with visionary director Ken Russell, appearing in his films The Lair of the White Worm (1988), where she played a maid, and Salome’s Last Dance (1988).
Throughout the late 80s, Shaw continued to work in high-profile genre films, including the action-thriller Taffin (1988) starring Pierce Brosnan, and the gritty sci-fi cult classic Split Second (1992) alongside Rutger Hauer. Her filmography also includes appearances in erotic anthologies and series such as Softly from Paris (1986–1991) and The Secrets of Love: Three Rakish Tales (1986). Known for her striking presence, Shaw remains a celebrated figure among fans of 80s cult cinema.
