Born on February 4, 1970, in Canton, Ohio, Nicole Wood first gained public attention as a successful pageant contestant, becoming a finalist in the Miss Teen New Jersey beauty pageant. Following her graduation from Cherokee High School in 1988, she rose to international fame when she was selected as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for the April 1993 issue.
Her career with Playboy extended beyond her initial centerfold; she appeared in several Playboy videos, including the Playmate Calendar 1994, and served as the captain of the Playboy X-treme sports team. Transitioning from modeling to business, Wood became a dedicated entrepreneur, founding the makeup company Unique Faces, Inc. and owning The Beauty Lounge, a day spa located in Westmont, New Jersey.
