She also appeared in notable films like Jean Renoir's 'The River' (1951), David Lean's 'Dr. Zhivago' (1965), and various horror and suspense films, as well as TV shows such as 'Doctor Who'. Corri had a significant stage career and authored the book 'The Search for Gainsborough'.
