Zusammenfassung
'Under the Skin' is a genre-bending film directed by Jonathan Glazer, released in 2013. Based on Michel Faber's novel of the same name, the movie stars Scarlett Johansson as an alien entity that has taken human form to lure men into its trap. The film explores themes of seduction, predation, and humanity through a unique narrative lens, questioning what it means to be human while triggering male fear and unease. Shot in Glasgow, Scotland, 'Under the Skin' is a nightmarish arthouse science fiction film that blurs the lines between genres.
