Geschichte
Irréversible begins with a brutal scene of Alex, a woman, being raped by a stranger named Pierre in a Paris tunnel. Her boyfriend Marcus and ex-boyfriend Pierre discover this act of violence against Alex and decide to take justice into their own hands. They brutally attack Pierre, eventually leading to his death at the hands of Marcus. However, it is revealed that the Pierre they attacked was not the same one who raped Alex, causing guilt and remorse for Marcus.
