Story
In Christmas of 1944, Soviet soldiers invade Hungary and abduct every woman with German origins from a small village to transport them to a Soviet labor camp. There, they are forced to work under inhumane conditions in coal mines. Among these women is Irén, who is determined to return home to her young daughter and family. At the camp, Irén meets Rajmund, a fellow prisoner who decides to help her survive by teaching her essential skills.
